Cultivate the changes you want to see with warm, solution-oriented counseling

Comprehensive online counseling that meets you were you are - and helps you get where you want to go.

Hey there! I'm Anna Hayden, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor based in Massachusetts. I work with adults who are navigating some of life's harder chapters: anxiety that makes the daily stuff feel impossible, grief that does not follow a timeline, trauma that follows you into the present, and big transitions that leave you wondering who you are now. I became a therapist because I am honored to be there in these pivotal moments in my clients’ lives, and consider it a privilege to guide them through the therapeutic process.

My approach is grounded in CBT, and I also draw on CPT for trauma processing, Somatic and Attachment-Based work for deeper healing, and Positive Psychology to build on what is already working in your life. What that looks like in practice: we talk, we identify patterns, and we work on practical tools you can use easily between sessions. I keep your lived experience and your goals at the center of every conversation. We move at your pace, and you set the direction. My job is to keep us on track! (Unless you want to show me pictures of your pets and/or kids. There’s always time for that 😊)

Our first session is a chance for me to learn about you and for you to get a feel for how I work. You will share what brings you in and what you are hoping to get from therapy, and I will listen, ask questions, and start to understand your history and what matters most right now. By the end, we will have a direction together and a sense of where we are headed. You do not need to have everything figured out before we meet. Just show up!
